The case study analyses the art education content of selected teachers through the school year in context of actual curriculum. The lesson plans are going to be compared with the actual realizations of students, with respect to the expected (art) competencies of themselves. How do the teachers deal with the curriculum and content in art education? The thesis explores that question per interviews with the teachers, document analyses and gathered reflections. It examines the way of dealing with pedagogical content, its transformation into concrete tasks, teacher's reflection and appreciation of the student works. Inspirational resources of the particular teachers are going to be also covered in this study. The contemporary researches of Art education with emphasis on the pedagogical content are going to be the theoretical basis of processing the case study. APPROACHES TO PERSONALITY AND SOCIAL EDUCATION IN TEACHING AT PRIMARY SCHOOL

The thesis highlights the importance of the cross-cutting theme of ``Personal and social education.{\crqq} Various cross-cutting issues such as those included in the general curriculum of basic education are defined in the theoretical part of the work. However, closer attention is dedicated to the cross-cutting theme of "Personal and social education". Presented in the practical part of the thesis is the information from the survey conducted on the sample of schools. These schools have had a yearly experience in application of their School education programs, including Personal and social education, into their own education systems.

The Development and Implementation of The Framework Educational Programme for Elementary Schools

This thesis deals with the implementation of the Framework Educational Programme of Basic Education (RVP ZV) in the Czech Republic. It is a brand new educational system which brings in many aspects of modern education and also many essential changes in comparison with the previous educational systems. In the first part of this thesis is described the basic philosophy and the main reasons why such a system has been presented. Then I want to concentrate on the implementation of the Framework Educational Programme of Basic Education to the elementary schools and the creation of the School Educational Programme (ŠVP). The differences in teaching methods of foreign languages are also mentioned. In the last part a questionnaire was used to find out the opinions on the new educational system. The results of this research indicate whether the teachers are in favour of it or not.
